When we started Vira Sun in 2015, we didn’t have a long-term plan. To be completely honest, we were surprised when the company lasted a year. But it did and then it just kept going. Before we knew it, 5 years had passed, and then we hit a decade this year. Time flies, as they say. But now we’ve decided to say goodbye and let the sun set on Vira Sun.
We’re a married couple who have been running Vira Sun together since day one with no additional help. We’ve both held full-time jobs the entire time and worked on Vira Sun at night, on weekends, holidays, and really whenever we had a spare moment. But we no longer have sufficient time or energy to dedicate to the brand and phoning it in feels like a disservice to both our fans and us. So, it’s with heavy hearts that we willingly pull the plug rather than watch it wither and fade away.
THANK YOU to everyone that has supported us over the years! You helped us make this business feel like a community and we are extremely fortunate to have so many amazing memories to reflect on. It’s been a wild ride and a lot of fun!

LOOK GOOD IN WOOD
All of our sunglasses feature lightweight polycarbonate frames with arms made from various types of wood. We offer several full-wood frames as well. The outside of both arms feature laser-etched Vira Sun logos, and metal spring hinges ensure a secure fit for all-day comfort.
POLARIZED PROTECTION
All of our lenses are polarized with UV400 protection to block harmful UVA/B rays. Our sunglasses feature impact-resistant TAC lens technology with Category 3 lens darkness which is ideal for bright light, water, and snow. Polarization reduces glare and eyestrain, and improves visual accuracy.
